Snapdragon

It was warm yet cold at the same time, i sighed in contentment, i felt the gentle rasping of a tounge on my fur, i smiled as my dream was sweet as honey.
"Is she awake yet?" asked someone near by.
"Not yet," said a soft female voice, probably my mother.
"Lilly, she won't survie the winter, without you." The other female voice said. Lilly must be my mom i thougth.
"Dasiy i know that, she will have your son to have than be alone." My mom said, softly.
"True, true but she will have to be tough, and be strong and powerful, if she is to survive the long years ahead of her." Dasiy said just as soft. I heard my mom sigh and began to lick my fur again.

Few months later....

"Snapdragon, please look at me." My mom said, i looked but the butterfly caugth my attion again. Mom sighed, and i was busy playing with the pink and purple butterfly flying about above my head.
"If you hold still it will came to you," Mom said, so i did. The butterfly landed on my flower on my head, i stared up at it. Mom put her paw up and the butterfly walked on it. I was the most beuitful thing i had ever seen, besides my mom. The butterfly flew up and landed on my nose. My green eyes focased on the small insect
"Hello, there." i said to the butterfly.
"Hi." It said in a small squkey voice.
"I'm Snapdragon whats your name?" i asked it.
"Violet." She said. My mom smiled.
"do you want to be friends?" i asked it.
"Sure, i do." Violet said.
